Amby Creek Mobile Camp

Amby Creek, Queensland Mobile Camp Deployment
Client FKG Group - Civil Team
Duration 2013
Status Completed
Capacity 40 Beds

Following extensive damage caused by the 2012 flood events, a need was identified across Queensland to undertake restoration works to repair various pieces of council-controlled infrastructure, delivered under funding from the State Government’s Natural Disaster Relief and Recovery Arrangements (NDRRA).

The FKG Group’s Accommodation Facilities and Camps team, now operating as Anaman, deployed a mobile camp to accommodate 40 of the FKG Group Civil site team working on NDRRA projects on the Warrego Highway in Amby Creek.

Designed to be portable and rapidly deployed, the mobile camp featured ensuited bedrooms; kitchens; cold rooms; dining and laundry areas; and site offices.

‘Plug-and-play’ infrastructure services were also deployed on skids to service the mobile camp, including sewage treatment, generators, and water supply.
