We are seeking an experienced and detail-driven Accountant to join our team. Reporting to the Corporate Services Manager, you’ll play a key role in delivering accurate, timely and insightful financial information that supports business performance and strategic decision-making.

This role offers genuine variety covering financial reporting, project cost management, budgeting support, taxation, auditing, and transactional finance activities. If you enjoy working across multiple areas and being a trusted advisor within the business, this is an excellent opportunity.

About the Role

• Assist with monthly, quarterly and annual reporting
• Prepare financial summaries and ad-hoc reports
• Support preparation and presentation of reports with commentary
• Monitor cashflow, debtors and key financial indicators
• Prepare annual budgets, monthly budgets and forecasts Assist with project cost management
• Assist with BAS, quarterly/annual tax returns and ATO submissions
• Prepare draft tax reconciliations
• Participate in internal and external audit processes
• Support processing of payments and transactional queries
• Enter and reconcile invoices, purchase orders and AP/AR transactions
• Conduct monthly bank and credit reconciliations with supporting documentation

About You

You will thrive in this role if you are proactive, organised and passionate about producing high-quality financial outcomes. You will also bring:

• Tertiary qualifications in Accounting/Commerce (or currently completing)
• 2–5 years’ experience in a commercial accounting role
• Strong knowledge of accounting practices
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and accounting software
• Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills
• Well-developed communication, time-management and prioritisation abilities
• Strong commercial acumen and the ability to interpret financial results
