Housekeeping Supervisor

We currently have an exciting and rare opening for an experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team at one of our a camps north of Rockhampton.  This hand on position plays a pivotal role in supporting, supervising and mentoring our existing team of service attendance to provide both a high level of service and quality stay for guests across our facilities. The successful applicant will be responsible for but not limited to:

• Undertaking and coordinating daily housekeeping operations across the site;
• Conducting regular inspections to ensure compliance with safety and cleaning standards;
• Liaise with camp management to address maintenance issues and service improvements;
• Managing inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment; and
• Proactively responding to staff and guest feedback professionally and timely.

 To be suitable for this opportunity, applicant must demonstrate:

• Prior experience in a housekeeping supervisory role, preferably in a remote or mining environment;
• Strong leadership and communication skills (verbal and written);
• Knowledge of industrial cleaning equipment and chemical safety;
• Strong time management skills;
• Ability to work in physically demanding conditions and remote settings;
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality service; and
• Current First Aid and CPR certification is advantageous.

The successful candidate will ideally be local to the area and work a 14 days on, 7 days off roster, however drive in (DIDO) and fly in (FIFO) arrangements within Queensland will be considered.
