In 2011, the FKG Group purchased the lease and undertook the full redevelopment of the Injune Caravan Park. The refurbished park included 84 modular rooms, five standard cabins, two ensuited cabins, powered/unpowered caravan sites. Facilities also included a full kitchen (providing all meals), dining room, gym, laundries and barbecue/recreation area.
Value Adds:
- Works carried out within a live caravan park site, with some residents requiring relocation – this involved a high level of community engagement to keep residents informed of the progress
- Support of local businesses during both construction and ongoing operation, by utilizing local suppliers and stores for products, materials and supplies where possible
- Ongoing facility management including the supply of catering
